Attorney Alan Eisenberg said a federal judge in Maryland ordered Naomi Isaacson released Thursday. She was arrested a week ago in Shawano on a contempt of court warrant.
Isaacson is chief executive of the Shawano-based Samanta Roy Institute of Science and Technology.
Shawano Police Chief Ed Whealon has said investigators believe a person linked to the institute was responsible for 60 citizens being notified by the FBI in early November that they were "potential victims of an implied threat."
Eisenberg said Isaacson's arrest involved an inadequate response to a subpoena in a Baltimore court and had nothing to do with tensions in Shawano.
